| Description | 2,6-Di-O-galloyl-beta-glucose belongs to the class of organic compounds known as galloyl esters. These are organic compounds that contain an ester derivative of 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid. 2,6-digalloyl-α-D-glucose + 2,6-digalloyl-β-D-glucose (1:2, mol/mol) was first documented in 2024 (PMID: 38359463). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2,6-di-O-galloyl-beta-glucose. |
