DescriptionSeiricuprolide belongs to the class of organic compounds known as macrolides and analogues. These are organic compounds containing a lactone ring of at least twelve members. (3z,11z)-2,13-dihydroxy-7-methyl-6,15-dioxabicyclo[12.1.0]pentadeca-3,11-dien-5-one is found in Seiridium cupressi. (3z,11z)-2,13-dihydroxy-7-methyl-6,15-dioxabicyclo[12.1.0]pentadeca-3,11-dien-5-one was first documented in 2016 (PMID: 27556865). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Seiricuprolide.
