Description | (?)-Krachaizin A belongs to the class of organic compounds known as linear diarylheptanoids. These are diarylheptanoids with an open heptane chain. The two aromatic rings are linked only by the heptane chain. 5-methoxy-2-[(1s,6s)-4-(4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl)-6-phenylcyclohex-3-ene-1-carbonyl]benzene-1,3-diol is found in Boesenbergia rotunda and Renealmia nicolaioides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (?)-Krachaizin A. |
