Description(1S,4aS,5R,8aS)-5-{2-[(2S,3R,4S,5S)-3,4-dihydroxy-2,5-dimethoxyoxolan-3-yl]ethyl}-1,4a-dimethyl-6-methylidene-decahydronaphthalene-1-carboxylic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as colensane and clerodane diterpenoids. These are diterpenoids with a structure based on the clerodane or the colensane skeleton. Clerodanes arise from labdanes by two methyl migrations. (1s,4as,5r,8as)-5-{2-[(2s,3r,4s,5s)-3,4-dihydroxy-2,5-dimethoxyoxolan-3-yl]ethyl}-1,4a-dimethyl-6-methylidene-hexahydro-2h-naphthalene-1-carboxylic acid is found in Conyza stricta. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,4aS,5R,8aS)-5-{2-[(2S,3R,4S,5S)-3,4-dihydroxy-2,5-dimethoxyoxolan-3-yl]ethyl}-1,4a-dimethyl-6-methylidene-decahydronaphthalene-1-carboxylic acid.
