| Description | Jasminoside T belongs to the class of organic compounds known as o-glycosyl compounds. These are glycoside in which a sugar group is bonded through one carbon to another group via a O-glycosidic bond. (4r)-4-({[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-6-({[(2r,3r,4r)-3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-one is found in Gardenia jasminoides. (4r)-4-({[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-6-({[(2r,3r,4r)-3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-one was first documented in 2013 (PMID: 23305920). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on jasminoside T. |
