Description | 3-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-6-({[(2R,3S,4S,5R)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. 3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-6-({[(2r,3s,4s,5r)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxychromen-4-one is found in Pitavia punctata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-6-({[(2R,3S,4S,5R)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one. |
