DescriptionSachaloside I belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(1r,2s,5r)-6,6-dimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]heptan-2-yl]methoxy}-6-({[(2s,3r,4s,5s)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Rhodiola sachalinensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Sachaloside I.
