Furan is a five-membered aromatic ring with four carbon atoms and one oxygen atom. 6-methyl-3-methylidene-2-oxo-7-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-tetrahydro-3ah-1-benzofuran-6-carbaldehyde is found in Artemisia lucentica. 6-Methyl-3-methylidene-2-oxo-7-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-octahydro-1-benzofuran-6-carbaldehyde is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
