These are sesquiterpenoids having the germacrane skeleton, with a structure characterized by a cyclodecane ring substituted with an isopropyl and two methyl groups. 3,9-dimethyl-6-(prop-1-en-2-yl)cyclodeca-3,9-diene-1,2-diol is found in Datura stramonium. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3,9-dimethyl-6-(prop-1-en-2-yl)cyclodeca-3,9-diene-1,2-diol. |
