Description(2S)-2-chloro-6-[6-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)-1,2-dithiin-3-yl]hexa-3,5-diyn-1-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as dithiins. Dithiins are compounds comprising a dithiin ring, which is an unsaturated six-member heterocycle containing four carbon atoms, two sulfur atoms and two double bonds. (2s)-2-chloro-6-[6-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)-1,2-dithiin-3-yl]hexa-3,5-diyn-1-ol is found in Ambrosia chamissonis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S)-2-chloro-6-[6-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)-1,2-dithiin-3-yl]hexa-3,5-diyn-1-ol.
