Dioxole is a five-membered unsaturated ring of two oxygen atoms and three carbon atoms. 9-(2h-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-1-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)nona-2,8-dien-1-one is found in Piper mullesua, Piper nigrum and Piper sarmentosum. 9-(2H-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-1-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)nona-2,8-dien-1-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
