These are organic compounds containing a lactone ring of at least twelve members. 14-hydroxy-12-methoxy-3-methyl-3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10-octahydro-2-benzoxacyclododecin-1-one is found in Euphorbia plumerioides and Ozoroa insignis. 14-Hydroxy-12-methoxy-3-methyl-3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10-octahydro-1H-2-benzoxacyclododecin-1-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
