| Description | (2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl (2E,5R,6E)-5,8-dihydroxy-2,6-dimethylocta-2,6-dienoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl (2e,5r,6e)-5,8-dihydroxy-2,6-dimethylocta-2,6-dienoate is found in Penstemon virens. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl (2E,5R,6E)-5,8-dihydroxy-2,6-dimethylocta-2,6-dienoate. |
