These are fatty alcohols that have an aliphatic tail of 13 to 21 carbon atoms. (2z,8e,10e)-heptadeca-2,8,10-trien-4,6-diyn-1-ol is found in Leptinella plumosa. It was first documented in 1999 (PMID: 10425113). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2Z,8E,10E)-heptadeca-2,8,10-trien-4,6-diyn-1-ol.
