These are aliphatic alcohols consisting of a chain of a least six carbon atoms. (3r,4r)-4-(hydroxymethyl)-3-[(1r)-1-hydroxynonyl]oxolan-2-one is found in Streptomyces coelicolor. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3R,4R)-4-(hydroxymethyl)-3-[(1R)-1-hydroxynonyl]oxolan-2-one. |
