| Description | 6-Methyleugenol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as methoxyphenols. Methoxyphenols are compounds containing a methoxy group attached to the benzene ring of a phenol moiety. 6-methyleugenol is found in Acorus calamus, Alpinia galanga, Asarum sieboldii, Eucalyptus brassiana, Laurus nobilis, Ocimum gratissimum, Ocimum tenuiflorum, Satureja montana and Tagetes lucida. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 6-methyleugenol. |
