Description[(2S,3S,4R,5R)-2-[(2E,4E,6E)-deca-2,4,6-trien-2-yl]-4-methoxy-5-methyloxan-3-yl] 2-aminoacetate, also known as restricticin, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as alpha amino acid esters. These are ester derivatives of alpha amino acids. (2s,3s,4r,5r)-2-[(2e,4e,6e)-deca-2,4,6-trien-2-yl]-4-methoxy-5-methyloxan-3-yl 2-aminoacetate is found in Penicillium restrictum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on [(2S,3S,4R,5R)-2-[(2E,4E,6E)-deca-2,4,6-trien-2-yl]-4-methoxy-5-methyloxan-3-yl] 2-aminoacetate.
