Phenylnaphthalenes are compounds containing a phenylnaphthalene skeleton, which consists of a naphthalene bound to a phenyl group. 8-hydroxy-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-[(2s,3r,4r,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-4h-naphthalen-1-one is found in Eutrema salsugineum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 8-hydroxy-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-[(2S,3R,4R,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]-6-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1,4-dihydronaphthalen-1-one.
