Description(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-{[(3S,4R)-6-hydroxy-3,4-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)hexyl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as stilbene glycosides. Stilbene glycosides are compounds structurally characterized by the presence of a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the stilbene skeleton. (2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(3s,4r)-6-hydroxy-3,4-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)hexyl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Pinus massoniana. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-{[(3S,4R)-6-hydroxy-3,4-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)hexyl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol.
