Description2-(3-Hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-7-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 4'-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C4' atom of the flavonoid backbone. 2-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2h-1-benzopyran-7-ol is found in Brosimum acutifolium, Crinum asiaticum, Dracaena cinnabari and Habranthus brachyandrus. 2-(3-Hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-7-ol is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
