DescriptionTetrapterol E belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 3'-prenylated isoflavanones. These are isoflavanones featuring a C5-isoprenoid unit at the 3'-position. 3-{3-[(2e)-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dien-1-yl]-4-hydroxyphenyl}-7-hydroxy-2,3-dihydro-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Sophora tetraptera. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Tetrapterol E.
