Description4,5-Bis(acetyloxy)-2-{[4-(acetyloxy)-6-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-4-oxo-4H-chromen-3-yl]oxy}-3,5-dihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methoxy}-6-methyloxan-3-yl acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. 2-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-4-oxochromen-3-yl]oxy}-3,5-dihydroxy-6-({[3,4,5-tris(acetyloxy)-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-4-yl acetate is found in Schenkia spicata. 4,5-Bis(acetyloxy)-2-{[4-(acetyloxy)-6-{[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-4-oxo-4H-chromen-3-yl]oxy}-3,5-dihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methoxy}-6-methyloxan-3-yl acetate is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
