Description(4AR,6bR,10S,12aR)-10-hydroxy-2,2,6b,9,9,12a-hexamethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,6a,6b,7,8,8a,9,10,11,12,12a,12b,13,14b-icosahydropicene-4a-carboxylic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cyclic alcohols and derivatives. These are organic compounds containing an aliphatic ring substituted with at least one hydroxyl group. (4ar,6br,10s,12ar)-10-hydroxy-2,2,6b,9,9,12a-hexamethyl-3,4,5,6,6a,7,8,8a,10,11,12,12b,13,14b-tetradecahydro-1h-picene-4a-carboxylic acid is found in Lavandula multifida. It was first documented in 2002 (PMID: 31593387). Based on a literature review a significant number of articles have been published on (4aR,6bR,10S,12aR)-10-hydroxy-2,2,6b,9,9,12a-hexamethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,6a,6b,7,8,8a,9,10,11,12,12a,12b,13,14b-icosahydropicene-4a-carboxylic acid (PMID: 27253005) (PMID: 27583328) (PMID: 36127157) (PMID: 36127156).
