Description | 2-(4A-methyl-8-methylidene-decahydronaphthalen-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-yl 3-methylbutanoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as eudesmane, isoeudesmane or cycloeudesmane sesquiterpenoids. These are sesquiterpenoids with a structure based on the eudesmane skeleton. 2-(4a-methyl-8-methylidene-octahydronaphthalen-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-yl 3-methylbutanoate is found in Perezia multiflora and Rhodanthe floribunda. 2-(4A-methyl-8-methylidene-decahydronaphthalen-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-yl 3-methylbutanoate is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
