| Description | Beta-Methylene-5-acetyl-6-hydroxy-2-benzofuranethanol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzofurans. These are organic compounds containing a benzene ring fused to a furan. Furan is a five-membered aromatic ring with four carbon atoms and one oxygen atom. 1-[6-hydroxy-2-(3-hydroxyprop-1-en-2-yl)-1-benzofuran-5-yl]ethanone is found in Eutrochium purpureum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on beta-Methylene-5-acetyl-6-hydroxy-2-benzofuranethanol. |
