Description2-Deoxyecdysone 22-phosphate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as trihydroxy bile acids, alcohols and derivatives. These are prenol lipids structurally characterized by a bile acid or alcohol which bears three hydroxyl groups. 2-deoxyecdysone-22-phosphate is found in Schistocerca gregaria. It was first documented in 1983 (PMID: 6684423). Based on a literature review a significant number of articles have been published on 2-deoxyecdysone 22-phosphate (PMID: 27253005) (PMID: 31593387) (PMID: 27583328) (PMID: 36127157).
