DescriptionPhoeniceroside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as o-glycosyl compounds. These are glycoside in which a sugar group is bonded through one carbon to another group via a O-glycosidic bond. 5-methyl-2-[2-(5-methyl-3-oxo-4-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2h-furan-2-yl)propan-2-yl]-4-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2h-furan-3-one is found in Juniperus phoenicea. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Phoeniceroside.
