| Description | (2E,4E)-2,4-Hexadienoic acid (1-oxo-6,6,9abeta-trimethyl-9balpha-hydroxy-1,3,5,5aalpha,6,7,8,9,9a,9b-decahydronaphtho[1,2-c]furan)-5beta-yl ester belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthofurans. Naphthofurans are compounds containing a furan ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 5 membered- ring aromatic ring with four carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (5r,5as,9as,9bs)-9b-hydroxy-6,6,9a-trimethyl-1-oxo-3h,5h,5ah,7h,8h,9h-naphtho[1,2-c]furan-5-yl (2e,4e)-hexa-2,4-dienoate is found in Aspergillus pseudodeflectus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2E,4E)-2,4-Hexadienoic acid (1-oxo-6,6,9abeta-trimethyl-9balpha-hydroxy-1,3,5,5aalpha,6,7,8,9,9a,9b-decahydronaphtho[1,2-c]furan)-5beta-yl ester. |
