These are cytochalasans with a structure in which the hydrogenated isoindole bears a 2-methylpropyl group. 1-hydroxy-4,5,8-trimethyl-3-(2-methylpropyl)-3h,3ah,4h,6ah,9h,10h,11h,13h,14h-cycloundeca[d]isoindole-12,15-dione is found in Mariannaea elegans. 1-Hydroxy-4,5,8-trimethyl-3-(2-methylpropyl)-3H,4H,6aH,9H,10H,11H,12H,13H,14H,15H,15bH-cycloundeca[e]isoindole-12,15-dione is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
