| Description | 20,29,30-Trinorlupa-18-ene-3beta-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as steroids and steroid derivatives. Steroids and steroid derivatives are compounds based on the cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene carbon skeleton, partially or completely hydrogenated; there are usually methyl groups at C-10 and C-13, and often an alkyl group at C-17. By extension, one or more bond scissions, ring expansions and/or ring contractions of the skeleton may have occurred. (3ar,5ar,5br,7ar,9s,11ar,11br,13as)-3a,5a,5b,8,8,11a-hexamethyl-2h,3h,4h,5h,6h,7h,7ah,9h,10h,11h,11bh,12h,13h,13ah-cyclopenta[a]chrysen-9-ol is found in Arabidopsis thaliana and Aspergillus ochraceus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 20,29,30-Trinorlupa-18-ene-3beta-ol. |
