Description[6-(2,4-Dihydroxyphenoxy)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methyl 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as pyrrolidine carboxylic acids. Pyrrolidine carboxylic acids are compounds containing a pyrrolidine ring which bears a carboxylic acid. Pyrrolidine is a five-membered saturated aliphatic heterocycle with one nitrogen atom and four carbon atoms. [6-(2,4-dihydroxyphenoxy)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methyl 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Vaccinium dunalianum. [6-(2,4-Dihydroxyphenoxy)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methyl 3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
