Description7-{[(2S,3R,4R,5S,6R)-3,4-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-5-methoxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-7-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. 7-{[(2s,3r,4r,5s,6r)-3,4-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-5-methoxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-methoxychromen-4-one is found in Salvia fruticosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 7-{[(2S,3R,4R,5S,6R)-3,4-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-5-methoxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-4H-chromen-4-one.
