These are organic polycyclic compounds containing a furan ring fused to a pyran ring. Furan is a five-membered aromatic ring with four carbon atoms and one oxygen atom. Pyran a six-membered heterocyclic, non-aromatic ring, made up of five carbon atoms and one oxygen atom and containing two double bonds. methyl 9'-[1-(furan-3-yl)-1-oxopropan-2-yl]-3',4,4,6'-tetramethyl-4',6-dioxo-3,3a-dihydro-5',10'-dioxaspiro[furo[3,2-c]pyran-2,2'-tricyclo[4.3.1.0³,⁷]decane]-1'-carboxylate is found in Harrisonia brownii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on methyl 9'-[1-(furan-3-yl)-1-oxopropan-2-yl]-3',4,4,6'-tetramethyl-4',6-dioxo-3,3a,4,6-tetrahydro-5',10'-dioxaspiro[furo[3,2-c]pyran-2,2'-tricyclo[4.3.1.0³,⁷]Decane]-1'-carboxylate. |
