| Description | 3Beta-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxy)-4alpha-[(S)-1-hydroxyethyl]-4,4abeta,5,6-tetrahydro-3H,8H-pyrano[3,4-c]pyran-8-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as o-glycosyl compounds. These are glycoside in which a sugar group is bonded through one carbon to another group via a O-glycosidic bond. (4as,5s,6s)-5-[(1s)-1-hydroxyethyl]-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3h,4h,4ah,5h,6h-pyrano[3,4-c]pyran-1-one is found in Gentiana tibetica and Swertia japonica. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3beta-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxy)-4alpha-[(S)-1-hydroxyethyl]-4,4abeta,5,6-tetrahydro-3H,8H-pyrano[3,4-c]pyran-8-one. |
