| Description | Fusicoccin J belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpene glycosides. These are diterpenoids in which an isoprene unit is glycosylated. (2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(1e,3r,4s,8r,9r,10r,11s,14s)-4,9-dihydroxy-6-isopropyl-14-(methoxymethyl)-3,10-dimethyltricyclo[9.3.0.0³,⁷]tetradeca-1,6-dien-8-yl]oxy}-6-{[(2-methylbut-3-en-2-yl)oxy]methyl}oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Diaporthe amygdali. (2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(1e,3r,4s,8r,9r,10r,11s,14s)-4,9-dihydroxy-6-isopropyl-14-(methoxymethyl)-3,10-dimethyltricyclo[9.3.0.0³,⁷]tetradeca-1,6-dien-8-yl]oxy}-6-{[(2-methylbut-3-en-2-yl)oxy]methyl}oxane-3,4,5-triol was first documented in 2016 (PMID: 26181224). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on fusicoccin J (PMID: 27375275). |
