These are diterpenoids in which an isoprene unit is glycosylated. (2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(2s,3r,4s,5r,6r)-6-{[(1s,3r,4r,4ar,8ar)-4-[(3e)-5-hydroxy-3-methylpent-3-en-1-yl]-3,4,8,8a-tetramethyl-1,2,3,4a,5,6-hexahydronaphthalen-1-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-2-methyloxan-3-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Dicranopteris linearis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-{[(2S,3R,4S,5R,6R)-6-{[(1S,3R,4R,4aR,8aR)-4-[(3E)-5-hydroxy-3-methylpent-3-en-1-yl]-3,4,8,8a-tetramethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,8a-octahydronaphthalen-1-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-2-methyloxan-3-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol.
