Hydroxyanthraquinones are compounds containing a hydroxyanthraquinone moiety, which consists of an anthracene bearing a quinone, and hydroxyl group. 1,3,8-trihydroxy-6-[(2s)-2-hydroxypentyl]anthracene-9,10-dione is found in Echinaster echinophorus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1,3,8-trihydroxy-6-[(2S)-2-hydroxypentyl]-9,10-dihydroanthracene-9,10-dione. |
