| Description | Deoxypentalenylglucuron belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (2s,3s,4s,5r,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-[(5r,8s)-2,10,10-trimethyltricyclo[6.3.0.0¹,⁵]undec-6-ene-6-carbonyloxy]oxane-2-carboxylic acid is found in Streptomyces omiyaensis. (2s,3s,4s,5r,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-[(5r,8s)-2,10,10-trimethyltricyclo[6.3.0.0¹,⁵]undec-6-ene-6-carbonyloxy]oxane-2-carboxylic acid was first documented in 1983 (PMID: 6833143). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Deoxypentalenylglucuron. |
