These are eicosanoic acids with an attached hydroxyl group and five CC double bonds. (5z,8z,10z,12r,13s,14z,17z)-12,13-dihydroxyicosa-5,8,10,14,17-pentaenoic acid is found in Gracilariopsis lemaneiformis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (5Z,8Z,10Z,12R,13S,14Z,17Z)-12,13-dihydroxyicosa-5,8,10,14,17-pentaenoic acid.
