Oxanes are compounds containing an oxane (tetrahydropyran) ring, which is a six-member saturated aliphatic heterocycle with one oxygen atom and five carbon atoms. 10-{2,3-dihydro-[2,3'-bifuran]-4-yl}-10,12-dimethyl-2,9-dioxatricyclo[6.3.1.0⁴,¹²]dodec-4-en-3-one is found in Syzygiella autumnalis. 10-{2,3-Dihydro-[2,3'-bifuran]-4-yl}-10,12-dimethyl-2,9-dioxatricyclo[6.3.1.0⁴,¹²]Dodec-4-en-3-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
