They also show profound effects on scalp and body hair in humans. 8-hydroxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-1h,3h,3ah,3bh,4h,5h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene-2,7-dione is found in Trichilia hirta. 4-Hydroxy-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadeca-3,6-diene-5,13-dione is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
