Description14-Hydroxy-alpha-muurolene belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. 2-(4,7-dimethyl-1,2,4a,5,6,8a-hexahydronaphthalen-1-yl)propan-1-ol is found in Juniperus oxycedrus and Piper auritum. 2-(4,7-dimethyl-1,2,4a,5,6,8a-hexahydronaphthalen-1-yl)propan-1-ol was first documented in 2021 (PMID: 33867898). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 14-Hydroxy-alpha-muurolene.
