These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. 2-{[4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-3-[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1-(3,7-dihydroxy-6-methylheptan-2-yl)-9a,11a-dimethyl-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-7-one is found in Tribulus cistoides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 13-{[4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-3-[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]oxan-2-yl]oxy}-14-(3,7-dihydroxy-6-methylheptan-2-yl)-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecan-5-one. |
