Description(1S,3R,5R,7R)-3-(3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-1,5,7-tris(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)bicyclo[3.3.1]Nonane-2,9-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as tertiary alcohols. Tertiary alcohols are compounds in which a hydroxy group, -OH, is attached to a saturated carbon atom R3COH (R not H ). (1s,3r,5r,7r)-3-(3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-1,5,7-tris(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)bicyclo[3.3.1]nonane-2,9-dione is found in Dorstenia picta. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,3R,5R,7R)-3-(3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-1,5,7-tris(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)bicyclo[3.3.1]Nonane-2,9-dione.
