Description | Isoanwulignan belongs to the class of organic compounds known as dibenzylbutane lignans. These are lignan compounds containing a 2,3-dibenzylbutane moiety. 5-[4-(2h-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-2,3-dimethylbutyl]-2-methoxyphenol is found in Hornstedtia reticulata and Schisandra henryi. Isoanwulignan is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
