Description | Syringetin 3-rhamnoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, syringetin 3-rhamnoside is considered to be a flavonoid. 5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-3-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}chromen-4-one is found in Lysimachia congestiflora. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Syringetin 3-rhamnoside. |
