Description | (1S,2S,5S,6R,7S,10R,12R,14S)-5,14-dimethyl-9-methylidene-4-oxo-3,13-dioxatetracyclo[8.4.0.0²,⁶.0¹²,¹⁴]Tetradecan-7-yl 3-methylbutanoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as guaianolides and derivatives. These are diterpene lactones with a structure characterized by the presence of a gamma-lactone fused to a guaiane, forming 3,6,9-trimethyl-azuleno[4,5-b]furan-2-one or a derivative. (1s,2s,5s,6r,7s,10r,12r,14s)-5,14-dimethyl-9-methylidene-4-oxo-3,13-dioxatetracyclo[8.4.0.0²,⁶.0¹²,¹⁴]tetradecan-7-yl 3-methylbutanoate is found in Artemisia douglasiana. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2S,5S,6R,7S,10R,12R,14S)-5,14-dimethyl-9-methylidene-4-oxo-3,13-dioxatetracyclo[8.4.0.0²,⁶.0¹²,¹⁴]Tetradecan-7-yl 3-methylbutanoate. |
