These are sesterterpenoids with a structure based on the scalarane backbone. Scalarane is a tetracyclic compound, which is similar the homoandrostane with five methyl groups at the 4-, 4-, 8-, 17-, 17a-positions. (1s,4as,4br,6s,6as,7r,10as,10br,12as)-8-acetyl-1-ethyl-7-formyl-1,4a,6a,10b-tetramethyl-2,3,4,4b,5,6,7,10,10a,11,12,12a-dodecahydrochrysen-6-yl (3r)-3-(propanoyloxy)pentanoate is found in Strepsichordaia lendenfeldi. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,4aS,4bR,6S,6aS,7R,10aS,10bR,12aS)-8-acetyl-1-ethyl-7-formyl-1,4a,6a,10b-tetramethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,4b,5,6,6a,7,10,10a,10b,11,12,12a-hexadecahydrochrysen-6-yl (3R)-3-(propanoyloxy)pentanoate. |
