| Description | 1,10-Dimethyl-6-methylidene-5,13-dioxo-4,14-dioxatricyclo[9.2.1.0³,⁷]Tetradeca-9,11-dien-8-yl 2-methyloxirane-2-carboxylate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as germacranolides and derivatives. These are sesquiterpene lactones with a structure based on the germacranolide skeleton, characterized by a gamma lactone fused to a 1,7-dimethylcyclodec-1-ene moiety. 1,10-dimethyl-6-methylidene-5,13-dioxo-4,14-dioxatricyclo[9.2.1.0³,⁷]tetradeca-9,11-dien-8-yl 2-methyloxirane-2-carboxylate is found in Eremanthus glomerulatus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1,10-dimethyl-6-methylidene-5,13-dioxo-4,14-dioxatricyclo[9.2.1.0³,⁷]Tetradeca-9,11-dien-8-yl 2-methyloxirane-2-carboxylate. |
