These are polycyclic aromatic compounds containing a xanthene moiety, which consists of two benzene rings joined to each other by a pyran ring. {3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-[1,4,5-trihydroxy-7-(hydroxymethyl)-9h-xanthen-9-yl]oxan-2-yl}methyl 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Aloe broomii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on {3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-[1,4,5-trihydroxy-7-(hydroxymethyl)-9H-xanthen-9-yl]oxan-2-yl}methyl 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate.
